Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. | Las Vegas, NV

Last week, my mom and I traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada for a few days to celebrate our birthdays and visit with her West Coast side of the family. Since there were more than twenty of us there for this lil’ reunion, we spent a lot of time breaking off into smaller groups to explore and enjoy Vegas, and then we reconvened for lunches and dinners. On one of these little adventures my mom’s two brothers took four of my cousins and me to the Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N., an interactive exhibit at Treasure Island!

The exhibit had several rooms dedicated to everyones’ favorite heroes like Captain America, Hulk, and Iron Man with interactive and somewhat educational activities. The tour is self-guided and you can do it at your own pace, which is really nice, especially for groups with kids. It took us less than an hour to get through, but it was packed with fun little activities like a strength test in Bruce Banner’s lab and an agent simulation at the end that the kids really enjoyed.

Each room also had props and costumes (some were replicas that you could touch and interact with, but many were real items from film sets that were preserved in glass cases). It was really cool to see the details of Ant-Man’s suit, realize the scale of the Hulkbuster, and test our worthiness to wield Mjolnir sword-in-the-stone style

Overall, it was a really good experience and I would highly suggest it for Avengers fans looking for a family friendly Vegas activity—it’s especially great if you use a Groupon or another deal to save on the cost of tickets if you’re taking a family or a large group!

The trip to Las Vegas was short but sweet af, and I already miss my family, the sights, and Evel Pie pizza…

Have you been to the Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N.? What’s your favorite Avenger?
